“LIONS” LAPAROSCOPISTS – LAPAROSCOPIC REMOVAL OF UTERUS WEIGHTING 1000 GRAMS

New accomplishment of our operational team! Enormously large uterus with multiple fibroids was removed laparoscopically. The weight of the extracted material is 1000 grams.

Last year, we removed uterus weighing 1200 grams. Laparoscopists which remove uterus weighing over 1000 grams are called “Lions-laparoscopists”. Usually, these uteruses are operated in classic way with an operative incision. In our hospital, this is done laparoscopically.

The patient left the hospital in two days.
