30 August 2022This method is already adopted in our hospital and is only used here in Macedonia. In patients with cancer of the genital organs, in the specific case cancer of the endometrium (the lining of the uterus), latest trend is removal of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries and lymph glands in the pelvis (pelvic) and outside the pelvis (para-aortic and paracaval), by laparoscopic way. This way, the lymph glands are mapped and the stage of the disease is determined.
“We apply this method in patients with low and high risk degree. In this particular case, the patient was 64 year-old, had high blood pressure and overweight. This procedure, in addition to the skill of the surgeon to remove the lymph nodes, also requires expensive laparoscopic equipment with a 4K camera that uses IR rays. We have such equipment. The patient only has three small cuts on her stomach, half a centimeter each, and she left the hospital on the third day. The same evening on the day of the operation, she was mobilized. This is the latest trend in the world.” says Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski, young but very experienced and skilled laparoscopist.

11 August 2022Two months ago, a laparoscopic lifting of the uterus was performed in a young 30-year-old woman with subtotal prolapse of the uterus (falling out of the vagina).
We left time to see how the patient will recover and how she’ll feel. She is fine and overjoyed that her uterus has been preserved. Namely, in these women, removal of the uterus through the vaginal route is done. We used a method which preserved the uterus. We performed a laparoscopic lift on the pectineal ligament of the pelvic bone using a mesh. Given that we had experience with lifting the vagina (vault prolapse) in 3 previous patients in a similar way, we performed the operation in just one hour. The patient left the hospital the next day.
Another alternative way of lifting prolapsed uterus is sacrocolpopexy, associated with more complications, the appearance of stress incontinence, plus it requires longer hospitalization and longer analgesia.
“This is a new method for which experiences are still being gathered in the world. We remain true to our vision and mission to apply the latest technology and technique of endoscopic surgery”, says Dr. Hristijan Trpchevski, the young but very experienced leader in the field of microinvasive surgery in Macedonia.

26 July 2022Only in Hospital Plodnost in Macedonia – third operation in a row of this kind!!!
In an older woman, with a previously removed uterus due to weakness of muscles and ligaments of the pelvic bottom, the vagina drops out of the body. An operative correction was also performed via the vaginal route elsewhere, without success.
“We applied a new laparoscopic vaginal lift technique to the pectineal ligament on the inside of the pubic bone in the abdomen. This is a new technique and the initial results show that it is much better than the so-called sacropexy, when the prolapsed vagina is lifted by the posterior pelvic bone (sacrocolpopexy). After such procedure, a high percentage of women have postoperative defecation problems. With pectopexy, there are no such problems. We have a longer lasting “follow up”.
The previous two patients have a very good postoperative course. This is a mutilating operation performed by skilled and experienced laparoscopists. In Macedonia it is only performed in our hospital.
The inserted mesh is permanent and non-resorbable. After we perform more such operations, we will publish our results in the international literature. We are working on a prospective, evidence-based medical study.
The successfully completed operation is our greatest pleasure”, says Dr. Hristijan Trpchevski, head of the endoscopic surgery department.

26 July 2022Laparoscopic surgery and hysteroscopic operations are more frequent at Hospital Plodnost. In 85% of cases, we have replaced classical surgery with laparohysteroscopy operations, which are more difficult for the doctors to perform, but provide greater benefits for patients. Hospitalization lasts from a few hours to a maximum of two days, which means that patients’ recovery is shorter and they can return to work more quickly.

“Last week was very dynamic at Hospital Plodnost. 10 hysteroscopic and 12 laparoscopic surgeries were performed to remove ovarian cysts, 4 of which ended with total removal of the uterus. In one case, a complete removal of the lymph glands in the small pelvis for endometrial cancer. There was also one unusual laparoscopic pectopexy – lifting the vaginal walls for the pectineal ligament of the pubic bone in a patient with so-called Vault prolapse, after classical hysterectomy.”
“We will inform you more about this operation, which in Macedonia is only performed here and in a few advanced laparoscopic centers abroad, as the latest method for which initial experiences are still being gathered. We are waiting for the outcome of the patient’s recovery. The first two were excellently corrected. There are very few publications of this type of operation in the world and initial experiences are being collected. If we have a higher frequency, our contribution will be significant” said Dr. Hristijan Trpchevski, head of the endoscopic surgery department.

10 June 2022New accomplishment of our operational team! Enormously large uterus with multiple fibroids was removed laparoscopically. The weight of the extracted material is 1000 grams.

Last year, we removed uterus weighing 1200 grams. Laparoscopists which remove uterus weighing over 1000 grams are called “Lions-laparoscopists”. Usually, these uteruses are operated in classic way with an operative incision. In our hospital, this is done laparoscopically.
The patient left the hospital in two days.

8 June 2022Dermoid cysts are of congenital origin. They occur from the germ layers of the fetus and can develop on any body part. In our patient’s particular case, on both ovaries. They can grow later in life and manifest with pain and infertility. It is a pluripotent tissue and may contain bone, cartilage, pus, sebum, teeth, thyroid, etc. They can grow enormously, thus damaging the ovarian tissue.
The procedure is explained by Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski, who led the operation of the young girl:
“In this young girl, the right ovary had a cyst of 7 cm, and the left of 3 cm. The cysts were removed laparoscopically with preservation of the healthy ovarian tissue, so that the patient can be a mother in the future. Bilateral cysts are rare, while in our practice we have had many cases with dermoid cysts on one ovary.” said Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski after the operation.

8 June 2022Laparoscopic removal of normal-sized uterus in under 30 minutes is already a routine procedure for us.
Our imperative are large uteruses reaching the navel, which we also remove laparoscopically, but the procedure is longer and lasts from 1.5 to 3 hours. In this particular case, the laparoscopic hysterectomy was performed in 25 minutes.
We will mobilize the patient tonight and she will leave the hospital on the second postoperative day.
The modern laparoscopic approach has reduced the hospitalization period, shortened patients’ recovery time and allowed them to return to work sooner.

15 May 2022Paraovarian cyst (next to the ovary) was successfully removed in a young girl at Hospital Plodnost. This is a very typical case. The girl had laparoscopic puncture, i.e., draining the fluid from the cyst, elsewhere two months ago.
“The patient came to us in pain with a ultrasonography finding of 14-centimeter paraovarian cyst.”
“During exploration, the massive cyst was fused to the intestines and the omentum. Extensive adhesion and deliberation of the intestine is performed, after which the cyst is displayed. Two liters of fluid are extracted. A total cystectomy with ovarian conservation was performed, as the patient has not given birth yet.”
“This was a really difficult and extensive laparoscopic operation, due to the collision with the intestines, but in our hospital, this is already a routine. Previously, in similar procedures, larger cysts of up to 25 centimeters with 4-5 liters of fluid, have been removed.” said our laparoscopy expert, Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski after the procedure.
The patient left the hospital the very next day.

9 May 2022The Association of Nurses, Technicians, Midwives and Dental Nurses “Za nas” (“For Us”), decided to start celebrating this year’s International Nurses Week from Bitola and the host of this event was Hospital “Plodnost”, which is proven leader in IVF procedures, surgeries and great delivery conditions for 11 years. Also, this is the only hospital in the country that offers water birth delivery. The International Midwives’ Day, May 5, which is part of the Nursing Week, May 5-12, took place at Hotel “Premier”, with the attendance of midwives and nurses from across the country.
“We, nurses, are not angels, but we are certainly the second most beautiful thing after angels” is the slogan of the Association “For Us”. Therefore, we must fight for all midwives rights, who have the noblest profession in the world, to be the first in the act of bringing a new life to the world. However, the midwives, as well as the other nurses are on the sidelines. Only united together we can emphasize their importance and the place they deserve in the society “, said the president of the association, M.Sc. Gordanka Beshliovska.
She also praised the activities of Hospital “Plodnost” and its importance in all areas of gynecology, obstetrics, IVF procedures and surgery. As a host, Prim. Dr. Tase Trpcevski, who pointed out all the hospital’s efforts and successes in the past 11 years of its existence. He especially emphasized water birth delivery method that is only offered in this hospital in the country, but also stood in support of the nurses, and thus the midwives.
“We are pioneers in providing water birth delivery, so far we can boast of a number of over 100 deliveries with this method. We are also unique in many surgery procedures, but all this will be noted in the upcoming period, because we will introduce livestream operations. Our midwives are with the patients from the moment they arrive, until they leave the hospital with the babies. Through this meeting, I provide my support for all nurses and midwives to exercise their rights.” pointed Dr. Tase Trpcevski.
The chief nurse of Hospital “Plodnost”, Rebeka Aleksovska, and the “For us” association midwife’s coordinator Milica Beslak also addressed the meeting.
As the only hospital in the country where water birth delivery is practiced, two of its nurses had their presentations, Marija Vasilevska, midwife – “Water birth delivery”; and Frosina Talevska, neonatology nurse – “Neonatal aspect of the water birth delivery “.
At the event, the association “For us” gave special thank you plaques to Dr. Tase Trpcevski and the midwives of the Clinical Hospital – Bitola. Plaque was also handed over to Merlinda Drala, chief midwife of the “Plodnost” Hospital’s OB/GYN department, for her commitment in obstetrics advancement and unselfish sharing of her extended experience with all midwife associates in the hospital.
The celebration of May 5, International midwives’ day, was enriched with the performance of students from the State Music School in Bitola, Natalija Nikolovska, on violin, and Aleksej Belevski, on piano. During the event, painter Zivko Popovski-Cvetin painted few paintings, which were given away to the host and the audience at the end.

8 May 2022Another great success the Hospital Plodnost’s team is especially proud of.
Successful delivery by a mother with laparoscopically applied abdominal cerclage in the 12th week of pregnancy.
Due to congenital weakness of the uterus and despite the vaginal cerclages, the patient’s previous two pregnancies ended with miscarriage, at 20-25 gestation week of the fetus.
The only way for the patient to keep the fetus was to laparoscopically apply abdominal cerclage – which was done for the first time in North Macedonia by Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski, with the assistance of Dr. Sotir Ropi.
Today we have a completely different story. In 34 gestation week, a vital male baby is born by caesarean section with a birth weight of 2310 grams.
In the past experiences of Hospital Plodnost’s medical team, there are several mothers which have successfully delivered with previous intra-abdominal laparotomy cerclages (classic surgery) during pregnancy. There are also many preventive laparoscopic cerclages in non-pregnant women with congenital weakness of the endocervix.
We are proud to have written history – for the first time in our country, our team has placed an intra-abdominal cerclage during pregnancy by laparoscopic route which resulted in successful delivery of a healthy newborn.
Highest global standards, implemented in our country. In Hospital Plodnost, anything is possible!

7 May 2022Sentinel limph node dissection with indocianin green – in North Macedonia only at Hospital Plodnost.

The laparoscopy surgical team of Hospital Plodnost led by Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski, performed a total removal of the uterus with sentinel marking of the lymph glands with indocyanine green, in a 73-year-old patient. Lymph glands in the lesser pelvis were also removed.

“The main problem in this case is that the patient is short, weighing 130 kg. Excess weight makes such patients more difficult to be operated laparoscopically. We successfully performed this procedure laparoscopically, which is a great benefit for the patient despite the huge body mass. With classic surgery, recovery would have been very long. The patient left the hospital on the third postoperative day. Although the laparoscopic approach in this case was more difficult for us, for the patient it is certainly much easier. Our goal is to relieve patients. We used the advantage of laparoscopic marking of the lymph glands with indocyanine green contrast, a method which in North Macedonia is applied only in Hospital Plodnost.” said Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski.

This is just another great success in the series of recent successes and new methods, which in our country are only performed in Hospital Plodnost.

7 May 2022The size of the myomas in the uterine cavity is a deciding factor for complete hysteroscopic removal in one step without reoperation. Myoma over 3 cm in a patient represents a risk for multiple procedures.
In an infertile female patient, a 5 cm myoma is removed in one act (with a single procedure). It is a large fibroid given the localization, which filled the entire cavity of the uterus and therefore have caused infertility. The risk of hysteroscopic removal is high, given the size of the fibroid and the inability to freely manipulate the resectoscope, as it may cause more bleeding.

The medical team, led by Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski, successfully removed the entire fibroid in one act without any complications. Otherwise, fibroids smaller than 3 cm in the uterine cavity are already a routine procedure for us. This fibroids size of 5 cm is a “cut off” for hysteroscopic removal. The patient left the hospital after only 5 hours.

This is a confirmation that we have reached the upper limit, i.e. we are among the best for hysteroscopic removal of myomas. The One and the only in the region, Hospital Plodnost. […]

7 May 2022The enormous desire to have a child was crucial for our patient, who despite her age, with her perseverance, faith and hope, gave birth to a baby boy. Given her age, this is a brave move of the proud mother, but also a great success for the IVF team of Hospital Plodnost. Over 10 previous unsuccessful in vitro procedures did not discourage the mother from intending to have a child.
“The crucial moment for our patient’s pregnancy was the endometrial receptivity test – the ERA test, to determine the receptivity of the endometrium. This way we had information about the exact time window for embryo implantation, which was the most important moment for our patient’s pregnancy. The success of this whole process really caused great joy to the patient, but also to our IVF team, which shows that persistence and knowledge provide top results.

This is not our first case of patients over 50 years of age becoming mothers by in vitro procedures. “So far, three patients at the age of 50, two at the age of 52 and one at the age of 51, have become pregnant through IVF procedures in our hospital and given birth to a child.” said Prim. D-r. Tase Trpcevski, after the great success they achieved together with the IVF team at Hospital Plodnost.
The happy mother, who shared her joy with the public, said that her wishes really become a reality, but it requires perseverance, faith and of course, a good medical team. She expressed special gratitude to the IVF team of Hospital Plodnost, who were with her during every phase of the process, from pregnancy to delivery. […]

16 March 2022The laparoscopic team of Hospital Plodnost led by D-r. Hristijan Trpcevski, with another major success.
For the first time in Macedonia, the sentinel lymph nodes (the first glands closest to cancer) were marked and removed in an 85-year-old woman with endometrial cancer by laparoscopic procedure, which removed the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.
We first performed preoperative lymph node mapping with ISG 99 / isocyanide grin / and laparoscopic detection using highly sophisticated equipment (gamma camera and intraoperative 3D navigation). In that way we improved the visualization of the sentinel lymph nodes during the operation, enabling more precise localization, ie more accurate anatomical localization. This way, we remove all the somatic lymph nodes affected by cancer, both in the small pelvis (pelvic lymph nodes) and outside it (paraaortalni and paracavalni). In this way we determine the surgical stage of the disease, avoiding morbidity from complete lymphadenectomy.
The patient, although 85 years old, endured the operation well, which lasted 2.5 hours. He left the hospital on the third postoperative day. On the day of the operation, she was mobilized because she had only 3 small cuts of 5 mm on her abdomen. This is the latest trend in modern laparoscopic technology. I am really proud that we applied it for the first time in our country, said Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski.

30 November 2021Laparoscopic surgery is a minor invasive surgery for the abdomen and pelvis area that uses the help of a camera to create tiny incisions or cuts. Today, we will talk about the benefits of Laparoscopic surgery and where you can get the best Laparoscopic surgery in Macedonia.
What is Laparoscopic Surgery?
Laparoscopic surgery is any minimalistic operation based on a laparoscope, a small camera with a light at the end that helps a surgeon see what’s going on inside your body. The surgeon inserts the camera into the patient’s body by making minor cuts or incisions.

The most common surgeries that the laparoscopic technique can do are,

Colon surgery
Anti-reflux surgery
Gall-bladder surgery
Stomach Surgery

The main goal of Laparoscopic surgery is to diagnose and identify any abdominal or pelvic issue by examining the organs in the two specific areas.
Advantages of Laparoscopic Surgery
Now that we have discussed the Laparoscopic surgery procedure, it’s time to break down all the advantages of this procedure.

Fast Recovery and Less Pain

One of the essential benefits of Laparoscopic surgery is that you do not feel any pain because the surgeons usually give their patients general anesthesia. And even after the surgery is done, the patients do not have to take painkillers because the recovery process is speedy. It is one of the main reasons people prefer this technique over traditional open surgery.

Another benefit of the Laparoscopic technique is that the surgeon does not have to cut muscle to get to the specific surgery site where the primary diagnosis happens. If the surgeon does not have to cut muscle, it means that there is very minimal tissue cutting and scarring that recovers very fast.
However, you need to make sure that the hospital you select does not use the Laparoscopic conventional technique because it can increase the recovery time and scars. You can check out Plodnost, which is the best hospital for Laparoscopic surgery in Macedonia.

Short Hospital Stays

Standard laparoscopic surgery takes one-hour maximum and does not involve any invasive operational techniques, so the patient does not have to stay in the hospital sometimes. And even if the laparoscopic surgery is more than one hour, the patients do not say more than a day in the hospital.

No to Minimal Internal Infections

Laparoscopic surgery does not involve deep cuts or incisions, which protects the internal organs and tissues from any kind of infection that a conventional surgery potentially causes. So, it is one of the safest procedures for the diagnosis of pain or any other issue in the abdomen or pelvis area.
Final Words
Here we want to conclude our article about the benefits of laparoscopic surgery. And we hope that you will take our suggestion and check out Hospital Plodnost for the best Laparoscopic surgery in Macedonia.

25 November 2021IVF is in vitro fertilization in which the egg is combined with a sperm outside of the woman’s body in a laboratory culture. It is one of the most common assisted reproductive techniques and is a helpful cure for infertility, including fallopian tube blockage or damage.

However, there is too much misconception associated with IVF, so we will talk about the 12 things you should know about IVF success rates today. We will also talk about the best hospital to get fertility treatment with more than 54% IVF success rates.
1. IVF can be a time-consuming procedure.
IVF or in vitro fertilization involves extracting the eggs out of a woman’s body and combining them with sperms, which can be time-consuming. Even though a woman’s egg cycle is 28 days, the patient has to get hormonal stimulant shots to produce more mature eggs every 10-12 days.
2.  Age can impact IVF success rates.
Age can highly impact the IVF success rates because the fertility rate starts to decrease in the 30s, and similarly, in the 40s, it is very difficult to get pregnant. So, the best age to get the IVF treatment is in the 20s or early 30s.
3. Frozen embryos are better.
Most people do not know that frozen embryos can enhance the IVF success rates up to 50% because they are more stable and ready for survival.

4.  IVF can be of different types.
Another important thing to know about IVF treatment is that there are many types of this technique, including natural IVF, mild IVF, and high drug-intensive IVF. The doctor will suggest you a suitable IVF after examining your condition.
5. IVF is not taboo.
First, we want to tell you that women’s fertility decreases with time because the quality of eggs reduces, so couples tend to seek IVF treatment more than you can imagine. According to statistics, more than 12% of women between 15 to 49 have fertility issues.

6. Be ready for multiple cycle treatments.
If you think of IVF treatment, you need to be ready for multiple cycles as it is not a one-time procedure. As the number of IVF cycles increases, the chances of pregnancy and fertility also increase.
7. Likelihood of multiple pregnancies.
And another important thing that you should know about IVF success rates is that there is a high likelihood of multiple pregnancies involving twins or triplets.
8. There is no 100% surety.
You need to keep in mind while going for IVF treatment that you won’t get 100% surety with this technique or any other fertility method. The average IVF success rate is up to 35%.
9. Dads are involved in the IVF procedure.
Most people have a common misconception that only women get emotional anxiety during the IVF procedure; however, the darts go to the same.
10. There are additional fertility treatments than IVF as well.
If you do not want to go for IVF, other fertility treatments can be considered. And if you want to improve IVF success rates can go for additional treatment options like PGS, PGD, Embryoscope, etc.
11. Your IVF efforts are worth it.
The bottom line is that all your IVF efforts are worth it, no matter how draining or expensive they are, so don’t let anybody tell you that you are just wasting your time and money. It is very brave of you to try everything possible to make your family.
12. Hospital selection can highly impact IVF success rates.
You need to select a highly reputable hospital for your IVF treatment because it can impact IVF success rates. We highly recommend you Hospital Plodnost, based in Macedonia, with a more than 54% success rate in IVF and other fertilization treatment as they have the best embryologists and modern technology.

18 November 2021The battle to have a baby can be one of the most difficult journeys that you will ever undertake. However, with advances infertility treatments and IVF success rates, it is easier than ever for couples who are struggling to conceive naturally. There are many misconceptions about infertility, but truthfully it affects 1 out of 6 people around the world! This blog post contains a few key pieces of information you need to know before undergoing an IVF treatment so that you can increase your chances of having a healthy baby.
Maintain a Healthy Weight
Excess weight can significantly decrease your chance of success with IVF. Maintaining a healthy weight is the easiest way to enhance fertility and improve chances for conception through an in vitro fertilization treatment. This may sound like common sense, but there are many people who overeat when they find out they have infertility issues because it brings the emotional pain of the infertility diagnosis to a physical level.
The best thing you can do for yourself if undergoing an IVF treatment is maintain your weight and focus on good health practices so that you feel as healthy as possible both physically and emotionally!
Optimize Sperm Health
The first step to optimizing sperm health is identifying any potential issues and correcting them as quickly as possible. Some of the most common causes for low sperm count, slow-moving or sluggish sperm are:

Tobacco use
Alcohol consumption
Excessive caffeine intake (more than three cups a day)
Marijuana usage
Long term exposure to pesticides or other toxins

If you are experiencing any of these issues, it is best to get them corrected before undergoing an IVF treatment at PLODNOST Hospital. Fortunately for men who have already started trying through natural methods, improving sperm health can be fairly simple and inexpensive! All that is needed is a good multivitamin (aim for a higher zinc content) and some dietary changes.
Reduce Your Stress
Another important aspect of IVF success is reducing your stress. While this may seem like an impossible task, there are many things that you can do to combat the high levels of anxiety and depression associated with an infertility diagnosis. Some simple tips include:

Exercise regularly (any exercise will be beneficial)
Eat a healthy diet with less caffeine, alcohol, and processed sugars
Quit smoking if applicable
Limit the amount of time you are spending on your laptop or phone (try to avoid large amounts of screen time)

If you can manage to reduce your stress effectively before starting IVF treatment at PLODNOST Hospital then it is likely that you will have an easier time with the treatment itself. […]

2 November 2021Choosing a fertility clinic near you can be an overwhelming process. There are so many questions, and you want to make sure that you find the best one for your needs. Not all clinics are created equal! In our blog post, we will discuss what you should look for when selecting a fertility clinic near you and we hope that you will select Plodnost Hospital for your fertility clinic needs.
Location
Where is the fertility clinic located? Is it near your home or work, and how easy will it be for you to get there once a week? If they are too far away from where you live then this may not be the best option. Sometimes it is worth the drive to find a fertility clinic with more experience and expertise.
If you live in an urban area, then there may be multiple clinics that are near you. However, if this isn’t your case then it will become much easier to narrow down which one would be best for you. Make sure they have office hours that work for you.
If there are multiple fertility clinics near where you live, then take a look on their websites to see if they list information about the types of conditions that each clinic deals with most often. If one specializes in your specific condition then it will be worth picking up the phone and giving them a call.
When looking for a fertility clinic, you are looking for a clinic that is near your home, has office hours that work around your lifestyle, and specializes in the condition you deal with.
Services
The fertility clinic should offer services that are tailored to your needs. If you have specific questions, then make sure they can answer them with ease and knowledge.
There are some clinics that specialize in certain issues like male infertility or IVF. Make sure the fertility clinic near you offers what is necessary for the treatment of your condition. They will also need to have the proper equipment and resources for your treatment.
Some fertility clinics also offer support services like in vitro fertilization pre-screening or counseling, which will be beneficial for those who need a little extra help getting through this process.
Before you make an appointment with any clinic near you, make sure they can provide what it is that you need.
Cost and Payment Plans
The cost and payment plans can vary at every fertility clinic. There are some which offer a sliding scale fee based on your income, while others may have an all-inclusive pricing package
I suggest that you do not just pick the first one that offers what is listed above but also consider their prices before making any appointments. The average price for a fertility clinic near you can range from $300-500 per month, which includes all treatments and medications.
Is there a payment plan available? If so, what are the terms of it like? You want to be able to afford treatment at your chosen fertility clinic while maintaining other aspects of your life as well. It is important that when looking for a fertility clinic near you, you consider the payment plans that are available.

15 October 2021You have probably heard that parenting isn’t easy. We agree that being a mommy brings too many responsibilities. Newborn babies also bring excitement into their parents’ life. However, mommies are stressed to take care of newborns. These little angels can turn your life upside down. So, focus on your health and your newborn so that both stay healthy. Here we will share the seven newborn baby tips that help new mommies enjoy and protect their babies. So, let’s start exploring the newborn baby care tips that might prove useful for both new moms and second-time moms.
Newborn Baby Care Tips
1. Take care of yourself
Many new mommies neglect their health, but it’s a major disaster. Kindly keep in mind that mommy’s health is also equally important as the newborn. Eat healthily and drink plenty of water with some good sleep. It helps you to keep yourself fresh and focus on newborn baby care.
Many mommies complain that they can’t sleep with a newborn. So set your routine to sleep with your baby routine. It helps maintain your energy, and you will have a good time caring for your newborn baby.

2. Know when to seek additional help
It would help if you kept in mind that parenting is a challenging face of life. So instead of taking all the burden, accept the additional help. It allows you to deal with troubles and adequately take care of the new baby. PHI Hospital PLODNOST provides the best neonatal and pediatric service where the best consultants are available to help you.
3. Learn to hold and feed
Since a neonate has a delicate neck and head, many new mommies are more concerned about holding the baby in a position that soothes their babies. A comfortable position in which they can give kangaroo treatment to their neonate and provide them with skin-to-skin contact is recommended. Also, the way you hold your baby should make feeding easy for the baby. If feeding makes your breasts tender, try a cold pack to get rid of soreness.
4. Go with the flow
Don’t burden yourself and go with the flow. Instead, set the time for naps, crying spells, and nursing sessions for managing your day and night routines with the newborn baby. Try to listen and recognize the sound of the baby’s cry. If your baby cries too much, swaddle your fussy baby to soothe him. And do whatever is best for your neonate.
5. Establish visiting rules
Newborns are sensitive. It would help if you take care of every small and big thing happening around them. So, set the visiting rules for every friend and loved one who came to your house and admired the baby. Let them know how to handle the baby and ensure that they wash their hands before holding newborns.
6. Set your visiting times to relax
Set your outdoor times with your newborn baby to change the environment. It helps to change the mood of mommies and brings more energy to them. Ensure that you take proper precautionary measures for taking your baby outside
7. Appreciate your newborns
These days are temporary, and newborns grow too fast. So don’t overstress every time. Instead of that, spend quality time and appreciate their actions.
Takeaway
You can make your post-partum period more relaxing by following the newborn baby care tips that we have mentioned in this write-up. Apply these tips and make every moment enjoyable.
Good Luck To New Mommies! […]

Talking about its reputed hospitals, PZU Hospital PLODNOST is worth mentioning when it comes to childbirth. As the pioneer in providing waterbirth services, it is the only hospital located in Macedonia that offers water birth delivery.
Water Birth in Macedonia- A Relaxing Modern Method
One of the amazing experiences that a woman is destined to feel is childbirth. Perhaps this natural action can bring forth some challenges for moms-to-be. Yet, the wonderful feeling of giving birth to a baby encourages the woman to face these challenges with a smile on her face and to welcome the newborn warm-heartedly.
But the process of childbirth can become less stressful by modifying the environment. Luckily, we can modify the environment by providing warm water in a pool to carry out the delivery process. Fast forward today, several methods are practiced for giving the safest and best experience of childbirth to mothers. And water birth is the unique method chosen by many moms-to-be. In this modern method, the process of childbirth is carried out in a warm or lukewarm bath. If your gynecologist has recommended you water birth, you can choose the best hospital equipped with the latest technology that offers birthing pool service in Macedonia. Luckily, Macedonia has the PHI Hospital PlodNost that has adopted this process to make childbirth an easy process. PZU Hospital PLODNOST has a team of experts, a warm pool, and all the other facilities that you need for the water birth in Macedonia.
Facts about Water Birth in Macedonia
Less Stressful
We are all well acquainted with the fact that a fetus spends nine months in the amniotic sac.
Since they are accustomed to aquatic environments, waterbirth makes it less stressful and gentle for babies to arrive in the world. Moreover, mothers do not need analgesia or epidural injection to combat the pain of childbirth.
Smooth Labour Contractions
What’s better than experiencing softer labor contractions for a mother? Macedonia has licensed healthcare practitioners working at PHI Hospital PlodNost who aim to make waterbirth easier for mother and baby. The effect of gravity is counteracted and this makes it easy for mothers to give birth to neonates.
Mental and Physical Relaxation
Since water provides a calming and relaxing experience, many women choose to give birth in water. Water makes them physically and mentally relaxed and this way they can better concentrate on the delivery process.
Control Hypertension and improve Oxygen Supply
One of the major complications related to childbirth is high blood pressure. So water birth is great for lowering high blood pressure.
Their blood circulation improves and as a result, the uterine muscles get sufficient oxygen required for uterine contractions. It not only benefits mothers by decreasing their pain but also the baby can get more oxygen than he needs at the time of birth.
Takeaway
Waterbirth includes the submersion of women in water to ease the delivery process and contractions. Macedonia is among those countries that have adopted this process and are contributing to improving women and child health in the best possible way.

Factors to Consider When Selecting a Neonatology Provider
There are several factors to consider when choosing the best neonatology care in Macedonia for your child.
Here is a list of many of them:
-The price range; how much does it cost? Is there financial assistance available if you cannot pay yourself, or do they offer an affordable payment plan?
-What specialties and skills are available? Do they have pediatricians, neonatologists, or other specialties on staff in order to meet your child’s needs?
-What is the emergency plan if there are any complications during delivery that require immediate care at another facility? Are arrangements being made for transportation via ambulance to a nearby hospital with an appropriate medical team for neonatal care?

1 August 2021Do you need to find a Laparoscopy hospital in Macedonia? If so, then this article is for you. Finding the best Laparoscopy hospital in Macedonia can be difficult because there are many options available and not all hospitals provide the same quality of care. This blog post will discuss how to identify the best hospitals and help you make an informed decision about where to go for treatment.
Reviews
Reviews are a great way to get reliable information about the best Laparoscopy hospital in Macedonia. There are many sites that list reviews and rankings of hospitals, such as Facebook. You might also want to speak with close friends or family members who have had surgery at a certain hospital before making your decision. Remember to pay attention to the specific needs and wants of your loved one, as each person has different requirements for a hospital.
Doctor Experience
One of the most important things to find in a Laparoscopy hospital is experience. The best hospitals have teams that provide excellent care and are knowledgeable about new techniques, treatments, and technologies. If you do not feel comfortable with the team at one hospital then it may be worth investigating other options before making your final decision.
Successful Cases
The best hospitals in Macedonia should have a large number of successful cases. Successful cases are important because they show that the hospital has a positive track record and is capable of providing excellent care to patients. You can find this out by looking at the length of time that a hospital has been operating. More experienced hospitals will have more successful cases than newer ones.

Cost
The cost is another important factor to consider when choosing the best Laparoscopy hospital in Macedonia. You should be able to find a good balance between cost and quality of care; you want to pay less but still, get excellent treatment at the same time. Hospitals that have high rates for surgery may also offer discounted rates if you are paying out of pocket, and you should be able to find a hospital that is within your budget.
Location
Another important factor to consider is the location of the hospital. If you are looking for a Laparoscopy hospital in Macedonia then it may be best to find one that has an office near your home or work, as this could reduce transportation time and make recovery easier. Hospital Plodnost is the exception to this rule as this hospital accepts overseas clients and these clients are allowed to recover in the hospital for as long as needed.
Communication
This is one of the most important factors to consider when choosing a Laparoscopy hospital. Communication can make all the difference in how surgery goes and ensure that you are getting excellent care at every step. The best hospitals will have strong communication with patients during treatment, which could include phone calls or emails between surgeries to let them know about their recovery. Hospital Plodnost is the best laparoscopic surgery hospital in Macedonia with experienced laparoscopic surgeons and doctors providing treatments.
