This early pregnancy scan is crucial for identifying chromosomal markers and detecting risks for conditions such as preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction. Given the rapid development of the fetus at this stage, a follow-up scan later in pregnancy is often recommended.

The second-trimester scan, ideally conducted between 20-22 weeks, is the most comprehensive assessment of fetal anatomy. This detailed ultrasound allows our specialists to evaluate the heart, brain, spine, face, and limbs with high accuracy. Additionally, ongoing screening for chromosomal abnormalities and the risk of premature delivery is conducted.
