After a successful IVF – back to Plodnost, this time a natural water birth

Some stories show how medicine and nature can work hand in hand when creating new life. Three years ago, a 35-year-old patient fulfilled her dream of becoming a mother after a successful in vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedure at Plodnost Hospital, following two unsuccessful attempts elsewhere.

 

This time, the joy was even greater – the pregnancy happened naturally, without any medical intervention. With it came another dream fulfilled: a water birth, something she had wished for the first time but didn’t dare to try.

 

“My second birth was easier and less painful. The warm water relaxed me, and in no time, the baby was born. I experienced peace and security,” she shared, describing the unforgettable experience.

 

She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the team that stood by her side – Dr. Marija, Dr. Margarita, midwives Hristina and Martina, and nurse Violeta. She also highlighted the comfort of the new hospital rooms, which made her stay even more pleasant.
