Different Diagnoses. Personalised Treatments. One Shared Outcome.
At Plodnost Hospital, every day brings a new story of hope, clinical precision, and individual care. Today, we share the unique journey of three patients, all aged 32 – who, despite having different diagnoses and undergoing different IVF protocols, reached the same result: a confirmed pregnancy.

These cases are proof that with personalised treatment and a dedicated team, success is not only possible – it becomes expected.

Patient 1: Premature Ovarian Failure
A 32-year-old patient, married for 2 years, was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure – a condition in which the ovaries stop functioning before the age of 40, significantly reducing fertility potential.
She underwent IVF treatment using donated egg cells.
Pregnancy was confirmed by ultrasound at 5 weeks and 5 days, with the presence of twins.

Patient 2: Blocked Fallopian Tubes and Hormonal Imbalance
Another 32-year-old patient, married for 3 years, was diagnosed with combined male and female infertility factors, including blocked fallopian tubes.
During the cycle planned for embryo transfer, elevated progesterone levels were detected, a hormonal imbalance known to reduce implantation success.

The embryo was therefore frozen as a blastocyst on day 5. Two months later, following a carefully timed endometrial preparation, the embryo was transferred at the optimal moment.
Pregnancy was confirmed at 5 weeks and 2 days.

Patient 3: Low Ovarian Reserve (AMH 0.1)
The third patient, also 32 and married for 10 years, had a diagnosis of severely diminished ovarian reserve, with AMH levels as low as 0.1 – indicating very limited egg quantity and quality.

After an unsuccessful first attempt, a second IVF cycle was carried out using a highly individualised protocol, tailored to her hormonal profile and ovarian response.
Pregnancy was confirmed at 4 weeks and 6 days.
