IVF Baby Boom: Resilience, Technology, and Twin Miracles
At Plodnost Hospital, every twin pregnancy is a symbol of perseverance, expertise, and the advanced IVF technology we use every day. In Part III of our IVF success series, we present three powerful stories—each with different challenges, but the same joyful ending: twins.
After 13 years of marriage and no clear explanation for infertility, this patient was diagnosed with idiopathic infertility—a condition where all test results are normal but pregnancy never happens.
We used Time-Lapse embryo monitoring, the only such system in North Macedonia, to closely track embryo development.

This patient had been trying to conceive for over a decade, with 4 failed IVF attempts at other clinics. Upon arrival at Plodnost, we diagnosed hydrosalpinx, a condition in which fluid-filled fallopian tubes can prevent implantation.
We performed laparoscopic surgery to remove the blockage and immediately proceeded with IVF.

With a history of PCOS and a previous early miscarriage, this patient had almost lost hope. During her second IVF attempt at Plodnost, we used cryopreserved blastocysts and applied ICSI, MACS, and Time-Lapse embryoscopy.

These three stories reflect the core of our IVF approach: personalised protocols, technological excellence, and patient trust.
