They occur from the germ layers of the fetus and can develop on any body part. In our patient\u2019s particular case, on both ovaries. They can grow later in life and manifest with pain and infertility. It is a pluripotent tissue and may contain bone, cartilage, pus, sebum, teeth, thyroid, etc. They can grow enormously, thus damaging the ovarian tissue.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The procedure is explained by Dr. Hristijan Trpcevski, who led the operation of the young girl:<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;In this young girl, the right ovary had a cyst of 7 cm, and the left of 3 cm. The cysts were removed laparoscopically with preservation of the healthy ovarian tissue, so that the patient can be a mother in the future.
